Meet Wilbur USA, a passion project turned fashion brand I am so grateful for. Wilbur is everything and more. 

 

At Wilbur USA, we create handmade designs thoughtfully crafted from thrifted and dead stock fabrics. Our pennants are tri-layered and embroidered with intent. Our mission is to redefine fashion by blending sustainability with individuality, making every product a celebration of talent and purpose. We use sweatshirt bases ranging from Brandy Melville to Aritzia and Abercrombie & Fitch. All our products specify what sweatshirt base they are so you know as much as we do!

 

My name is Emma, and I’m a college student currently at UCLA with a passion, a set of ideals, and dreams that led me here. Wilbur USA is more than just a brand to me—it's a way to showcase creativity while promoting conscious fashion choices. Thank you for being a part of this journey! Where's Wilbur?

 I don't want this to be another hoodie in your closet - I want you to have personal connection to it. Everything created is handmade with care, designed in my dorm room and embroidered by hand. I wish I could say I knew how to use an embroidery machine but unfortunately, I do not and I am constantly yelling, "Pivot" to myself.

Why Do You Wilbur?

How Is Wilbur Different?

Everything you see is handmade in the Bay Area (California, USA). Each fabric is chosen, found, and placed together. This unique technique combines embroidery, sewing, and up-cycling practices to create something truly yours. There is no drop-shipping, no unethical labor practices (only exception is when I get a little fatigued), but overall this is a handmade product that I am so incredibly proud of.

Our mission is to champion sustainability and individuality by creating something unique on a brands we all know and love. From Brandy Melville to Abercrombie bases, our very much thrifted hoodies are already pre-loved! We just add a bit more to them in order to make you feel more in tune with it.
